Safety equipment
Today, PFISTERER safety equipment is regarded as standard in many countries around the world. For example, the KP-Test series of voltage testers and the single-pole phase comparator. Our earthing and shortcircuiting devices for short-circuit currents up to 33 kA are available in many different versions and lengths. |

State-of-the-art Safety and Convenience: KP-Test 5.
In the past, PFISTERER has also carried out fundamental research in the safety equipment field, which has found its way into international standards. But we haven't reached the end of our development yet, not by a long way, as the new PFISTERER voltage detector proves: wider range of application, simpler to use, improved signal indication – KP-Test 5 meets the increased requirements of the market and makes high-quality safety equipment possible. |

Increased Safety:
The Single-Pole Phase Comparator.
Testing for an in-phase condition in three-phase networks is just as important safetywise as testing for absence of voltage. So operating errors must be eliminated as far as possible. That's why PFISTERER developed the single-pole phase comparator, which, in contrast to the double-pole version, is much simpler and so safer to operate. |

Real Lifesavers: Earthing and Short-Circuiting Devices.
To be able to work perfectly in emergencies and safely prevent danger to personnel, earthing and short-circuiting devices must be optimally adapted to the situation they are to be used in. That's why PFISTERER offers a comprehensive range of conductor and earthing clamps for use in all cases. Because earth cables can lash about in a short-circuit situation and endanger personnel in the immediate vicinity, the earth cable selected should not be unnecessarily long. For this reason, PFISTERER produces all its earthing and short-circuiting devices with reference to each specific order and precisely geared to the particular customer requirements. IT-supported logistics processes – developed specially for this product group – enable short lead times. |

Continuous Voltage Indicator for Encapsulated Systems.
With the increasing use of encapsulated switchgear, voltage testing systems which can provide a voltage indication without direct contact with the live parts are becoming more and more important. As the first manufacturer in this field, PFISTERER has set new standards with the DSA continuous voltage indicator and launched a product which has been extremely successful so far. Following the trend towards integrated systems, PFISTERER has integrated this pluggable indicator in a compact system and – with the DSA-i3 – fulfilled all requirements within a tight space. |
