Spring-type tensioning equipment for overhead contact lines

The new automatic tensioning equipment TENSOREX® employs spring forces to tension overhead contact lines automatically instead of equipments applying weight forces used predominantly so far. The new design enables new possibilities for installations and is advantageous especially under narrow conditions. Deutsche Bahn tested the equipment and the German railway authority EBA approved its use. The equipment has already been adopted in 20 countries.
