SCK Tap Connector Complete Set
PFISTERER has now made available its globally proven and tested classic with the appropriate cable joint box set for all cable types and cross-sections.
To provide permanent protection from environmental influences, the tap is encased by a joint box consisting of a plastic sleeve or similar, which is mounted on installation and filled with casting resin. To ensure that this protective device continues to meet the high quality expectations, which the SCK tap connector has established in this area, connector, sleeve and casting resin are now all available from PFISTERER.
Casting resin KP-PUR 2000 is formulated specially for use in cable accessories and possesses corrosion-resistant properties. The polyurethane casting resin is not only hydrophobic, and therefore does not react to water, but also hydrolysis-stable. Even aggressive water qualities cannot penetrate the casting resin; - thus the material remains resistant for many years.
The Dutch testing association KEMA's suitability declaration provides proof of this casting resin's properties, and it confirms that the resin meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0291.
The SCK tap connector is available in the following versions: - Main conductor 35 -50 mm² and 70 SE mm² / tap conductor 6 -50 mm² and 70 SE round-formed mm²
- Main conductor 70 RM / SM - 120 mm² and 150 SE mm² / tap conductor 6 - 70 mm² and 95 SE round-formed mm²
- Main conductor 185 - 240 SE / SM / tap conductor 6 - 70 mm² and 95 SE mm²
- Main conductor 95 - 120 mm² and 150 SE mm² / tap conductor16 - 120 RE / 10 - 95 RM / 35 - 120 SM / 50 - 150 SE mm²
Casting resin KP PUR 2000 is available both in tins and double chamber bags. The SCK tap connector, joint and casting resin are also available separately.
